Also, it has a tough and easy to clean ABS plastic pan to catch all the unwanted dirt and dust. The manufacturer strongly suggests purchasing the pan for this crate. These Midwest Dog Crates are typically used in the home or kennel. The Midwest Starter Series is perfect if you intend to set up the Dog Crate and leave it in one place. The Midwest Starter Series Dog Crate is a Drop Pin style Dog Crate: Drop-Pin homes have 6 separate panels that are secured together with a “drop-pin” in each of the 4 corners. These homes are typically used by pet owners who intend to set up their homes and leave them in one place. Drop-pin homes are easy to set up and require no tools for assembly.
